This site is the official web page of the North American Bear Center. Give them money! It is a worthy cause. They are planning to build an education and outreach center so that people can learn more about bears. Very nice site, with a very pleasant opening graphic and FAQ lists by Dr. Lynn Rogers.

Vital Ground is an organization dedicated to preserving grizzly habitat. They have as their mascot, Bart, the 1400 lb. Kodiak Brown trained by Doug Seuss. You've likely seen him in a bunch of movies and TV commercials. A very attractive site.
